Frequently asked questions

Common questions about access, data, AI analysis and integrations.

Who can access our data in Axia?

Only users your administrators add to your workspace, limited by their role (Viewer, Analyst or Admin).

Can we use our own identity provider and MFA?

Yes. Users can sign in with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace. Sign-in then follows your identity provider's policies, including MFA. Administrators can create SSO-only accounts that have no password.

How are passwords protected?

Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are stored as salted bcrypt hashes. Sessions use signed, secure cookies and expire after 8 hours.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Ask your Axia administrator. They can set a new password for you under Users.

Where is our data stored?

In the AWS account and region of your deployment. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

How does the AI analysis work?

Axia sends the relevant content to large language models through Amazon Bedrock to assess sensitivity and risk.

Which tools can we connect?

Today: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Purview DLP), Google Workspace (Gmail), Jira, Azure DevOps, Claude Code and Cursor. Other connectors are shown as 'Coming soon' on the Connect page.

Can Axia take actions automatically?

Only the actions an administrator enables on the Act page. Content actions, such as holding a message or revoking a share link, are disabled until you turn them on.

Why can't I see some pages?

Pages depend on your role. Connect, Users, Act, Enforce, Insights and Settings are for administrators. Some features are also switched on per workspace.

How do I report a problem or a security issue?

See the Support page.
